Queere Tiere is a captivating fusion of drag performance and post-dramatic opera, created by Daniel Hellmann (Soya the Cow) and Coco Schwarz (Piano Prince). This dazzling show explores the diversity of sexualities and life forms in the animal kingdom through music, storytelling, and transformation. Drawing from personal queer experiences, the performers weave tales of real-life queer animals alongside myths and fairy tales, creating a whimsical world where mythical creatures coexist with queer sheep, bisexual snails, and transgender clownfish. Supported by Swiss cultural organizations, Queere Tiere has toured extensively, delivering a poignant celebration of love, identity, and the natural world.
